Fleet Administrator

Skilled Solutions is a rapidly growing delivery service partner based in Basildon, Essex. We specialise in the recruitment and supply of self-employed delivery drivers for a large international client throughout Kent, Sussex, Essex and London.

Due to an increase in client demand, we're looking for a fleet administrator to join our team at our Basildon head office with an immediate start.

Hours: 9am–5pm (Monday–Friday)
Location: Office based (Basildon)
Pay: Starting from £27,040 per year (depending on experience)
Paid holiday: 28 days
Workplace pension included

Full training will be provided but some experience in fleet management and/or the logistics industry would be desirable but not essential.

Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driver's licence.
• Good communication skills with a confident telephone manner and attention to detail.
• Good I.T. skills with a basic knowledge of Word, Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Some mechanical or vehicle parts knowledge is preferred but not required.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks.

Roles will include but not limited to:

• Booking vehicle servicing, MOTs and vehicle repairs with suppliers.
• Processing penalty charge notices.
• Scheduling vehicle collections and returns.
• Completing vehicle inspections, on-hires and off-hires.
• Updating vehicle records.

The role may also include various administration duties in quieter periods, which may include maintaining a driver database, ensuring all documents are up to date and regular audits are completed.
